The wind catches my awning so much that I usually don't have it out so I got this strap so that I would use it more. One problem is that the awning sticks out to straight and the gas struts are too strong. Even so once the wind sprang up the first day I put it up, it was all we could to to get it to roll back up. It would be nice to get something working since that's the west side of the trailer.
